Mappls Places Widget ¶

Introduction¶

The Mappls Add a Place feature allows users to contribute new locations that are not yet listed on the Mappls platform. This enhances the coverage and accuracy of Mappls, ensuring that new places are integrated into the map and easily accessible. Once added, these locations are reflected on the Mappls map, making them available for navigation and discovery by the community.

Embed Mappls Add a Place on your website by following the below.¶

To use the Mappls Add a Places Widget, you need to specify the following URL format:

Configurable Parameters¶

You can customize the widget with the following parameters:

fullscreen (Optional): A boolean value (true/false) to enable or disable fullscreen mode. (Default: true)
position (Optional): Specifies the position of the widget on the screen. Possible options include:
top-left (Default)
top-right
bottom-left
bottom-right
zoom (Optional): Sets the initial zoom level for the map. (Default: 16)
pitch (Optional): Sets the initial pitch angle of the map. (Default: 0)
width (Optional): Sets the width of the iframe (default: 100%).
height (Optional): Sets the height of the iframe. (Default: 80vh, which is 80% of the viewport height).
